Factory Quality Vehicle with a Bespoke Handcrafted Interior

Built in the same factory, but simply badged with their individual manufacturer’s logos, the Mercedes Sprinter and Volkswagen Crafter are identical vans.

With full headroom height and a factory fitted steel high top roof, this van provides a large interior around which to plan your own layout. Easily designed with seating for four to travel, eat and sleep, you’ll have plenty of room to fit in all that you need.

Based upon a factory built van, you can choose from a wide range of vehicle options and extras – cruise control, dashboard airconditioning, metallic paint, removable towbar, heated wing mirrors, front fog lights and alloy wheels to name just a few.

Equipped for Independent Travel

The conversion pictured alongside is a bespoke customer design, hand built for a family of four. With hot water and hot blown air, bathroom with fitted toilet and sink, three burner hob, mini grill, sink with drainer, seventy five litre fridge, rear shower and full seating and sleeping for four, this highly specified conversion is designed for comfortable living in complete independence.

Fully Belted Seats

With travel seating for four, each with full three point belts, the rear seats are European manufactured and crash tested approved (TUV). Designed as two single rear seats, they simply flat and when combined with the swivelled front seats form a pair of single beds. At Jerba Campervans we are very conscious about rear passenger seat safety and for travel seats we only install, to manufacturer’s specification, this European made and tested product.

Sleeping With Ease

With the rear seats folding simply into two single beds, just revolve the front seats around and you’ll have two flat single beds – no messing around with tables and cushions, it’s all done by the pull of a couple of levers.

Sleeping in the far rear of this vehicle was designed around two permanent single bunk beds. With a removable access ladder for the upper bunk, the lower bunk also provides ample storage beneath.

Bespoke Built Handcrafted Interior

Constructed from specialist light weight plywood, all our furniture board is factory bonded both sides with a tough Egger laminate. With a far harder finish than any vinyl or paper covered product, your cupboard and counters will stand the knocks and wear of everyday use. We specialise in a high quality finish and employ skilled finishing carpenters to scribe, cut and fit furniture that is an exact match to the vehicle.

This conversion will give you plenty of scope to choose the kitchen and storage layout that suits you best. We cut the furniture straight from sheets at our workshop, so as long as it fits, any design is possible!

Eating and Relaxing

With the front two seats swivelled around, a pair of independent fully adjustable tables are mounted in between these and the rear seats – giving a relaxing and eating area for four, well out of the way of the kitchen area.

Enclosed Bathroom and Rear Shower

In the rear corner of the driver’s side, an enclosed bathroom includes a fitted cassette toilet (with the cartridge accessible for removal from the rear doors of the van) and a tip up wash basin with hot and cold water.

Open the back doors of the van and you can access the rear shower – also with hot and cold running water.

To convert a Mercedes Sprinter/VW Crafter to this specification, depending upon the layout and fittings, would cost between £13,000 and £16,000 - including VAT.
