Volkswagen T2

Our expertise with T2’s lies in fitting the complete internal layout - from bespoke cutting of furniture to fully approved and certificated electrics and LPG systems.

We fully understand that many T2 owners have specific and detailed designs for their vans and we’re very happy to work together with you in making these become reality.

We take great pride in our work and employ highly skilled and experienced finishing carpenters - we aim to give you a van that will turn heads and where the quality of the work speaks for itself.

High Quality Finish

We predominantly use high quality materials and products that we import directly from continental Europe. We believe that we should build conversions to a high standard and make sure that they will stand the test of time and not look tired and tatty after only a couple of years. We have converted T2's for a number of customers including Bluebell (pictured above) for Classic Camper Holidays, a small family firm based in the Scottish Borders who specialise T2 VW Campervan rental.

All our conversion work is covered by a 24 month warranty and all appliances are also covered by separate product warranties. The brand names of products we use include SMEV for hobs and sinks, Vohringer for lightweight laminated furniture board, Fiamma for the water pump and accessories, Varta for leisure batteries and Sargent for the electrical system.

We happy to work with you and fit in and around different phases that you may have for restoring your T2. In the example pictured above, before being passed to ourselves, this vehicle had undergone a full body restoration and respray, the rock and roll seat had been recovered for us to refit, the elevating roof had been repaired and the floor had been prepared and ply lined.

We worked together with the owner of this T2 to give a practical and high quality layout that suited the owner’s needs - one of the few jobs left for the owner was to lay the flooring, a job they chose to undertake themselves.
