Official Supplier of VW Motorhome SE T5 Transporter
Jerba Campervans is one of a small list of UK converters who are approved by Volkswagen to supply the official Volkswagen Motorhome SE Transporter T5 as the base van for conversion.
The Motorhome SE vehicle is built upon the identical chassis and body shell as the standard Transporter T5 Window Van and but is available across a wider range of engine and transmission choices – for instance the 180bhp engine is available as either a DSG (automatic) or 4 Motion option, something that is not possible on the Window Van.
The other key difference is in the standard specification. To give the UK buyer a more comfortable and smarter vehicle than the standard T5 Window Van, VW have developed the Motorhome SE version to include the following as standard;

Colour coded bumpers and mirrors

Slide opening window in rear side sliding door

Upgraded radio CD with AUX in (for plugging in an MP3 ipod etc.) and four speakers
- Electrically heated and folding mirrors

Single front passenger and driver’s comfort seats with VW Tasamo fabric

Carpet covering on cab floor

Cab vanity mirrors, sunglasses case and additional seat storage pockets

Cab reading lamps

Extra vents in side B pillars (side pillars behind driver and front passenger)

Additional engine noise suppression

Full wheel trims
Directly comparing the Motorhome SE and Window Van, the full list given above is only an extra £1200 for either vehicle.
The choice is yours as to whether you would prefer a campervan based upon the Motorhome SE or the Window Van - we offer both vehicles as a base van and are just as happy to convert either one.

The prices in the table below are all based upon the 2.0 litre 102bhp engine with manual gearbox - our Window Van prices include the VW factory option of Single Front Passenger & Driver Comfort Seats. The Motorhome SE specification is as given at the top of this page.
