Elevating Roof

With the Taransay the need for headroom when cooking in the kitchen area is all to the rear of the campervan, our solution to this is a rear elevating roof from either German manufacturers SCA or Reimo. Both roofs are fully fitted as standard with midge proof (not just mosquito proof!) ventilation netting aswell as a clear plastic window.

Both roofs also elevate slighty at the front, giving ample room over the front seating area and giving extra room in the roof bed area. Roof beds are an option and will allow two people to sleep in the roof space with a combined weight of 140kg.

With breathable canvas sides you'll also never ever suffer from condensation on the inside - a problem that non breathing plastic side elevating roofs experience on a nightly basis.
