Elevating Roof Roof-Rack

Strong enough to carry around 60kg and simple to load and unload

Working together with roof rack specialists Kari-Tek, we have developed a design of rack that is fully compatible with the Reimo active roof rails that can be fitted to the Reimo or SCA elevating roof. Both roofs roof have a load capacity of approximately 60kg – however, after taking into account the weight of the rack, we would recommend a maximum load of around 50kg. Please note that to lift the elevating roof into its raised position you must first unload any kayaks or canoes.

The roof rack is specifically designed on sturdy rollers to slide out and then drop down the side of the vehicle for simple loading and unloading. Kari-Tek specialise in roof racks for kayaks and canoes – visit their website to learn more about them.

This rack can also be retro fitted to an existing Reimo or SCA roof – or indeed a fixed low steel roof. If you have a high top roof then depending on the strength of the roof it is also possible to fit this type of roof rack design – see the Kari-Tek website for their ingenious solution!
