Partitioned from Main Living Area to Give Private Bathroom
In the rear driver's side section of the Jura is a fixed cassette toilet with washbasin above. Although we fit the Thetford C400 as standard, it is also possible to opt for a Thetford C200 with swivel bowl. For flushing, both toilets draw water directly from the fresh water tank, so there's no need for bulky extra water storage compartments and electric flush is standard. Removing the cassette for emptying couldn't be easier, simply open the cupboard door facing the rear and slide out the cassette.
Above and behind the toilet we locate a sink that's big enough to easily wash your hands and perhaps even your hair. With the option of hot water available it makes this washroom a very functional and practical bathroom space. Above the toilet we also build a small shelved cupboard for storing your bathroom essentials and opposite is a large wardrobe (shelved or unshelved, it's up to you!).
Separating the bathroom from the forward living area of the Jura is a folding door with locking handle. We are aware that this does make the entrance tight for some people, so we are also currently looking into a design where a floor to ceiling wardrobe door can, when opened fully, also double up as the bathroom to main living area dividing door.
