As an official supplier of the Volkswagen T5 Motorhome SE based vehicle, Jerba Campervans is one of very few UK campervan conversion companies to have achieved European Whole Vehicle Type Approval. This is the highest level of European vehicle safety legislation and requires the testing of all rear belted seats in the shell of an actual T5 - for more information on our testing programme just click on the European Whole Vehicle Type Approval box on the left menu of this page.

Based upon the VW T5 long wheel base vehicle, our Cromarty conversion is a family campervan with full seating for five people and loads of extra room. With a rear seat for three, all with full three point inertia seat belts, this front elevating 2m high roof design campervan also offers plenty of extra room in the mid section over our Tiree conversion.

Our Standard Cromarty Layout Includes:

• Elevating Roof - German manufactured front elevating roof with three large zipped windows, two with fine midge (not mosquito!) mesh vents. Maximum closed height of 2 metres. Click here for more details and pictures.
• Rear Seats - 130cm wide 3 person RIB seat, fully tested by Jerba Campervans to European Whole Vehicle Type Approval regulations, with contoured comfort seating for three passengers all with a three point inertia seat belt and integral adjustable headrest. • Double Bed - folding easily from the rear seat, giving a bed of 186cm by 130cm (6ft 1 inch x 4ft 4 inches). Click here for more details and pictures.
• Swivelling Front Seats - both driver and passenger seat swivel around to face the rear and give a great communal feel. With more room behind the driver’s seat in the Cromarty than the Tiree, there’s plenty of space to swivel the seat around. Click here for more details and pictures.

• Hob and Sink - SMEV three burner gas hob and combined sink unit with styled smoke glass lid. Click here for more details and pictures.
• Fresh Water Tank - 38 litre capacity located on the underside of the vehicle - saving vital cupboard space! Click here for more details.
• Fridge - 62 litre 12v compressor fridge (11 litres more than in the Tiree) with freezer box. Click here for more details and pictures.
• Cupboards and Lockers - hand built from top quality European double sided laminated lightweight 15mm poplar plywood and finished in hot glued PVC edge banded trim. Click here for more details and pictures.
