One of the most exciting developments in the campervan industry is the collaboration between Volkswagen and Ford, resulting in the new Ford Transit Custom and forming the engineering base for the VW Transporter T7.
This joint engineering effort brings together two industry giants, combining the rugged dependability of Ford with the refined design heritage of VW. And at Jerba, we’re uniquely placed to convert both.

At Jerba Campervans, safety and quality have always been our top priorities. We’re proud to be one of the very few UK converters to have achieved full Type Approval for our Volkswagen T6.1 campervans — the highest standard of vehicle safety testing, awarded in 2012.
Now, as we expand into interior Ford Transit camper conversion, we’re thrilled to announce we’re entering the final approval phase for the Ford Motor Company’s National Converter Programme, achieving full Type Approval on this new platform.

Jerba Campervans Wide Range of Campervan Conversions – Volkswagen and Ford
We’ve long been trusted for our five expertly designed VW T6.1 campervan conversions, available on both short wheelbase (SWB) and long wheelbase (LWB) models. All of these are now available in the new Ford Transit Custom with lots of happy customers already on the road.
However, we aren’t just developing the Ford Transit Custom — our East Lothian workshop is already working on the first of our VW T7, the next generation of Volkswagen Transporter.

We also offer three highly functional VW Crafter conversions across MWB or LWB platforms — providing more space and flexibility for those seeking a larger camper van solution.
While we specialise in brand-new conversions, we’re also happy to convert customer-owned VW Transporter, VW Crafter, or the 2024 Ford Transit Custom, adapting our expert designs to your unique requirements.
