Spacious Living,
Independent Kitchen.

The award winning Sanna is built around one idea: the freedom to go wherever you want, for however long you like, without needing a hook-up or a facility block. A fixed cassette toilet with privacy door, a full kitchen with hob, sink and 51-litre compressor fridge, a 38-litre internal water tank that works year round, everything you need to be genuinely self-sufficient.

At the front, two 60cm wide RIB seats fold to form two single beds, each 185cm long. Push them together with the optional sliders and you have a 120cm wide double, 200cm long. The pop-top roof and optional roof bed adds a third sleeping space, a 112cm wide roof bed on a sprung slatted base, suitable for two adults or children up to 150kg. The front cab seats swivel to face the rear, giving a proper living space when parked.

Built on the long wheelbase VW T7 or Ford Transit Custom, the Sanna is the most versatile layout in our Transporter range. It’s the complete independent campervan, the one Jerba customers keep coming back to.

“Total flexibility, off-grid freedom, and still under 2m high.”

Standard Campervan Features
Our standard Sanna conversion includes everything you need to set off on a trip — we don’t leave out vital elements. Your VW T7 or Ford Transit Custom campervan is ready for the road.
Four fully belted seats tested to full Type Approval standards. Two French-made RIB rear seats convert into twin beds (60cm × 185cm), or slide together to form a double bed (120cm × 200cm). VW factory swivels on both cab seats, integrated headrests and contoured cushioning for comfort in travel and sleep.
Our exclusive rear pop top elevating roof, designed in-house, closes to under 2m in height. Made with breathable Ventile cotton canvas and stainless steel components — only fitted to Jerba conversions. Optional roof bed (112cm wide, up to 150kg) suitable for two adults or children.

Optional Campervan Features

Frequently Asked

The questions we hear most.

What makes the Sanna different from the Tiree and Cromarty?

The Sanna’s defining feature is the fixed cassette toilet with privacy door — a level of independence not available on the Tiree or Cromarty as standard. It also has twin individual rear seats that can form either two singles or a double, making it the most flexible sleeping layout in the Transporter range. If you want to go anywhere without needing campsite facilities, the Sanna is the right choice.

Can the Sanna rear beds form a proper double?

Yes. A slide mechanism brings the two 60cm wide RIB rear seats together to form a 120cm x 200cm double bed — comfortable for two adults and longer than most Transporter conversions can manage. The double bed mechanism is an optional upgrade worth adding if you primarily travel as a couple.

Does the Sanna have a proper toilet or just a porta-potti?

The Sanna has a fixed Thetford C200 swivel bowl cassette toilet located in the rear corner of the van, separated from the living space by a folding privacy door. It’s a proper, permanently installed toilet — not a portable unit — and uses the van’s main fresh water supply for flushing.

Can the Sanna sleep four people?

Yes, with the optional pop-top elevating roof. Two adults sleep below on the twin singles or combined double, and two more sleep in the roof bed — a 112cm wide sprung slatted base capable of supporting up to 150kg, suitable for two adults or children. Without the roof, the Sanna sleeps two very comfortably.

What is the 45-litre internal water tank?

Unlike many conversions that fit the water tank under the floor — where it can freeze in winter — the Sanna’s 45-litre tank is mounted internally, keeping it above freezing all year round. This makes the Sanna genuinely usable in cold Scottish winters without the risk of a frozen water supply.

Is the Sanna available on the Ford Transit Custom?

Yes. The Sanna is available on both the VW T7 and the Ford Transit Custom. Both platforms offer the same Sanna layout and specification — the choice between them comes down to personal preference for the base vehicle. Get in touch and we’ll talk you through the differences.
