A partial conversion is where we fit one or more specific upgrades to your existing van rather than a full interior build. You might just want our pop-top roof, or a new floor and seat system, or a full electrical install — we can do any of these as standalone jobs. It’s a great way to improve your van gradually or get exactly what you need without committing to a full conversion.
Absolutely. Many customers start with one or two packages and add more over time, while others choose a combination from the outset. If you’re planning multiple packages at once, get in touch before booking — fitting them together is often more efficient and can save time and cost compared to separate visits.
Yes — all our conversion packages are fitted in our North Berwick workshop. We’re easy to reach from Edinburgh and the central belt, and many customers combine their drop-off with a visit to see our full conversion range in person. We’re always happy to show you around while your van is with us.
It depends on the package. A roof-only fit typically takes a few days, while a combined floor, seat and electrical install will take longer. We’ll give you a clear timeframe when you enquire so you can plan around it.
Most of our packages are available for the VW T5, T6, T6.1 and the new VW T7 and Ford Transit Custom. Compatibility varies by package — the roof packages in particular have separate versions for the older Transporter range and the new T7/Transit Custom platform. If you’re unsure whether your van is compatible, just get in touch and we’ll confirm.
Yes. Every conversion package we fit includes a complimentary mechanical vehicle health check — so you leave with not just your new upgrade, but a clear picture of your van’s overall condition.
Yes. Both our RIB and Mobiframe floor and seat packages offer a range of upgrades including leather, Thermoflex, alcantara, different seat widths and double swivel options. If you want your seat fabric matched to your existing vehicle interior, we can arrange that too — though it does carry a longer lead time.
Yes, and we’d love to help. Whether you want to upgrade something in your van, add heated seats or fit leather to an existing Jerba interior, get in touch and we’ll talk through what’s possible.
