As a Volkswagen Motorhome Qualified converter, every Crafter we build is finished to the same exacting standard as all our other builds. With fully enclosed shower and toilet options, generous storage, standing headroom, and optional pop-top roof, a Jerba Crafter conversion is the closest thing to a motorhome you can get in a van you can actually live with every day.

At Jerba Campervans, we offer three conversion layouts on the VW Crafter, giving you significantly more space than any Transporter sized conversion, without stepping up to a full motorhome. Available on medium and long wheelbase platforms with high roof as standard, the Crafter offers genuine standing headroom, a fully enclosed shower and toilet, and room to sleep four in comfort. As a Volkswagen Motorhome Qualified converter, we apply exactly the same standards to every Crafter build as we do to our Transporter range.
Considerably. Our medium wheelbase Crafter is 6.0m long — 0.7m longer than the long wheelbase Transporter T6. The long wheelbase Crafter stretches to 6.8m. Combined with a high roof giving 1.96m of internal headroom, it’s a fundamentally different proposition, much closer to a traditional motorhome in terms of space and livability.

Yes, and it’s one of the Crafter’s biggest advantages over the Transporter. All three of our Crafter layouts can be specified with a fully enclosed washroom including a Thetford toilet and full-height shower, hot water via a Webasto diesel heating system, and a 51–75 litre compressor fridge. You get genuine off-grid capability without needing a full motorhome.
